Eucalyptus

Nothing like fire season to teach us gratitude for clear, blue skies and FRESH air! The last month the west coast has been on fire cloaking us in thick, dangerous smoke. The air quality reaching into the hazardous levels above 400 for multiple days. On those rough days we stayed inside with the air purifiers and diffusers blasting to help clear the air and support normal breathing. Some of our favorite oils to diffuse during fire season include Breathe, peppermint, lemon eucalyptus, rosemary, lemon, tea tree and of course, eucalyptus. The main chemical components of Eucalyptus radiata are eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, making it an ideal oil to promote clear breathing and support open airways.

No diffuser? Just add a couple drops to a running shower or add to a spray bottle with water to use as an air freshener.
Want a couple more uses?
Eucalyptus can be used on skin for a revitalizing boost or added for a calming massage.

Leather couches? I add eucalyptus to my leather conditioning oil to naturally keep my couches clean and protected.
