Chronic Low Back Pain

Did you know that one of the number one complaints in this country is low back pain? It makes sense with our jobs demanding us to sit for long periods of time or allowing for poor posture overall as well as long commutes contributing to the same problem. Coupled with a low activity lifestyle or improperly training our muscles no wonder we have become such a mess.

Some people have also suffered from the opiate crisis by being given a pill to dull the pain instead of a therapy program.

The problem is clear, and the solution?
 Just as clear: yoga.

A study published by the American College of Physicians shows yoga is as effective as physical therapy for treating chronic low back pain. Featured in Time magazine,  this study shows how yoga is finally becoming more and more mainstream in our western world. Not only is yoga as effective as physical therapy, if you don’t have insurance coverage, it can be MUCH more affordable.
